The Health Science 3 students at Strom Thurmond Career and Technology Center (STCTC) began the school year by participating in a team activity.  The students were placed in teams and given a problem to solve.  After working together, they were required to “debrief” their process to their instructors.  “It is important to be able to work as a team in the healthcare field,” explained Caitlin Christie, Health Science instructor.  With this activity the students must analyze their own behavior and how they respond to a problem-solving situation.  Practicing collaborative skills will help them become successful future healthcare professionals.
